Masalah manusia #27 - GUNA AKAL

Kalau kau kena marah dengan makcik Deutsche sebab basahkan tandas awam, tu bukan racism nama dia... tu padan muka.

Masalah manusia #26 - LAZY N STUBBORN

We live in the time where, all that are 'logic' are defined as 'deep', all that are 'common sense' are defined as 'kind'.

The malfunction of the brains of the society. Too lazy to think. I can't even say you are dummer than the animals. It's an insult to the animals. (ni pun mesti kau nak kata deep gak kan)

Jaya #4 - BLESSING IN DISGUISE

'Now days I walk over things I used to trip over.'

DM #18 - IMMATURE

Went through all your past crushes from tadika till the last couple of years and can't help but to laugh at yourself, 'sampah mana la kau kutip all these while...'

If He were to answers all your prayers, you'd probably be dead from bunuh diri sukarela terjun gaung right now.

Nasib tak maqbul, fuuhh!

Masalah manusia #25 - ABNORMAL

My dear future kids,

Mommy has some problems here. Eye sore. Men with buns are like women with side shaved. I dont get 'em.

At all.

Men do their eyebrows here. Women tattooed theirs.

Why???

Can't imagine how they'd behave in your time, honey... I'm already so sorry for you, sweetheart.

Love,
Mommy

Ameen #21 - ALLADIN

When I was a kid, the whole family would pray maghrib together.
We would all stand in line in front of the sajadah. And everytime when we have to make our sujood and tahayyatul akhr, I would make sure my whole body especially my feet would not leave the sajadah area...

I'm afraid that if the sajadah were to transform into flying carpet, I would fall down then, not able to join my family for an adventure.

We were to take-off to visit the Pluto, the Uranus, the Sun, the Mars, the...

'Assalamualaikum warahmatullah...'

Oh, man... back to earth...

*          *          *

Maghrib prayer | the sunset prayer
Sajadah | praying mat
Sujood | prostration
Tahayyatul Akhr | the final stage, sitting on your feet reciting the last prayer before the final Salam (the greeting of peace... Assalamualaikum warahmatullah) to end the prayer.

Layar #13 - The Walk

"Most variable Walkers they die when they arrive. They think they have arrived, but they're still on the wire. If you have three steps to do, and you take those steps arrogantly, if you think you are invincible, you're going to die."

(Papa Rudy)

JUST SAYIN'

"The Buddhists say if you meet somebody and your heart pounds, your hands shake, your knees go weak, that's not the one. When you meet your 'soul mate' you'll feel calm. No anxiety, no agitation."

LL #1 - OTAK

Amazing is brain, a storage mechanism, a recorder, a theater stage.

It could always be recorded, paused, played and rewind. Seldom stopped.

Sometimes by your commands, most of the times by itself.

So, beware... of what you feed your brain.

Thoughts #30 - LIBERATION

When I was a kid, I envy the adults... of how free they are in making their own choices, having the full autonomy of their lives. I often felt trapped in my parents' prison...

And now I am a full grown women, having my own apartment, my own lines of clothes and list of chores. And I feel trapped in my own prison...

WISH #6 - GIFT OF LIFE

to be a volunteer in a hospital, helping out the patients, preferably those who suffer from leukimia and cancers, those who suffer from anything related to spine and brain

Layar #12 - The Secret Life of Mitty Walter

On the Himilayan Mountains, hours of waiting to take a good shot of the snow leopard...

Sean O'Connell: They call the snow leopard the ghost cat. Never lets itself be seen.

Walter Mitty: Ghost cat.

Sean: Beautiful things don't ask for attention.

(silent moment...)

Walter: When are you going to take it?

Sean: Sometimes I don't. If I like a moment, for me, personally, I don't like to have the distraction of the camera. I just want to stay in it.

Walter: Stay in it?

Sean: Yeah. Right there. Right here.

.

.

.

Strucked right at the heart as the lines were spoken. Two things came to mind:

'Do you consider yourself beautiful? If so, why the spotlights you made on yourself ? '

'Not every thing you cherrish, let alone appreciate and love should be put on camera... much more absurd to be shared on social media.'

then it immediately came to mind of the quotes of Albert Einstein:

'I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.'

*

The thing is, as we develope, we tend to forget our past and forget to learn the very essence of it. Too blurred by the mainstream mentality, too caught up with all the attention received.

One day, you will come to realise of how much the heart is contaimenated, of how much it needed to be de-toxed.

Then, you realise the need to go back to sticks and stones, and learn how to appreciate things like the way it was before.

Yes.

Way way back.

When Abraham had none, but Him to guide, of what to worship, from whom to be loved...

(6:75-79)

*         *         *

Beautiful things don't ask for attention.

They ask for forgiveness, for the beauty borrowed and bestowed upon.

Vienna #36 - HOIT DI GOSCHN

"Austrians are 1) very polite, 2) they don't mean it.

On one side they say 'Gruß Gott, wie geht es Ihnen?', but in their mind they say, 'Oida hoit di goschn du bleda wappla!' "

True, except for the Viennese, it's the very opposite of that statement. Viennese are 1) very rude, 2) they mean it.

Vielen Dank.

*          *          *

Glossary :

Oida hoit di goschn du bleda wappla! (austrian dialect)
Alter, halt die Klappe du blöder Trottle! (standart german)
Man, shut that howling screamer (the mouth), you skunk! (english translation)

Gruß Gott, wie geht es Ihnen?
Hello, how are you?

SURVIVAL

"Den Satz, den ich in einer Sprache anfange, spreche ich in der selben Sprache zu Ende."

(Christoph Waltz)

*          *          *
